Besides the benchmarks, some of their solutions have also been submitted. These solutions will be reviewed in a later phase.

The benchmark specifications have been created by Word6 or Word7. Extension ZIP refers to compressed files.

The revision of the benchmarks is underway. The Benchmark Committee issues soon a call for benchmark solution. The benchmarks can be downloaded from the above given sites and the solutions should be sent as attachment to your e-mail announcing your solution. The e-mail should be addressed to a member of the Benchmark Committee.

CALL FOR VVER RELATED BENCHMARKS (OLD)

The Atomic Energy Research Community is issuing a Benchmark Book, which is going to be a comprehensive test problem collection for VVER-440 and VVER-1000. This book follows the series of experimental tests performed on critical facilities ZR-6 and LR-0. The Benchmark Book is meant to provide VVER related operational and mathematical tests.

            Requirements: The submitted tests

Primary consideration is given to the benchmarks, which have been used to test VVER related codes or components. Also, compiled tests, which have been prepared in a working group, are welcome. If compiled solutions to your test are available, please, submit the solutions, too.

Please, follow the below given guide when filling up the AER Benchmark Specification Sheet. Fill out Items 3 and 6. In Item 7, give a short history of the test. In Item 8, provide all the information needed to calculate your test. Fill out Items 9 and 10. In the latter, the output should be in plain text, the format should specify only data grouping. In Item 11, refer to previous written publications but all relevant information should be given in Item 8.

You can submit your test by e-mail, filling up the attached Benchmark Specification Sheet. Please, use Word6.0 or compatible text editor. Graphics in HPGL Plotter File (PLT), JPEG Bitmap (JPG), Word Perfect Graphics (WPG), PIFF Bitmap (PIF), Corel Draw (CDR) formats are accepted. You can also submit good quality figures to be scanned and included into your specification.

The AER Scientific Council has established a Benchmark Committee to collect, review and compile the benchmarks. Benchmarks should be submitted to any of the Benchmark Committee Members:

Benchmarks submitted by 15 April 1999 will be considered for inclusion in the Benchmark Book coming out in 1999. After submission, the tests will be reviewed. Please, cooperate with the reviewers associated to your test in order to compile a good quality Benchmark Book.

 CALL FOR BENCHMARK SOLUTIONS (NEW)

The Atomic Energy Research is issuing a Benchmark Book, which is going to be a comprehensive test problem and solution collection for VVER-440 and VVER-1000. This book follows the series of experimental tests performed on critical facilities ZR-6 and LR-0. The Benchmark Book is meant to be comprehensive collection of VVER related operational and mathematical test problems and solutions.

As first step of this activity, the Benchmark Committee has issued a Call for Benchmarks. The submitted tests can be downloaded from: http://aerbench.kfki.hu/

If you have a new or old good quality solution to the tests enlisted in the above directory, you can offer it for inclusion into the Benchmark Book. Please, fill items 2.a and 3-11 of the attached AER Benchmark Solution Sheet, and submit the filled out sheet by electronic mail to a Benchmark Committee Member. If the benchmark specification asks for bulk data (e. g. distributions, spectra), then, put the data into a separate, simple text file. If you happened to use an individual numbering, please specify it. The submitted benchmark specifications are being reviewed. If you have problems with the specification, please contact the author.

The AER Scientific Council has established a Benchmark Committee to collect, review and compile the benchmarks and solutions. Benchmark solutions should be submitted to one of the Benchmark Committee Members:

Miha’ly Makai KFKI AEKI                                        makai@sunserv.kfki.hu

Pertti Siltanen IVO                                                       Pertti.Siltanen@ivo.fi

Solutions submitted by 31 August 1999, will be considered for inclusion into the Benchmark Book coming out in 1999. After submission, the solutions will be reviewed. It may happen that the reviewer has comments or questions. Please, cooperate with the reviewers associated to your test in order to compile a good quality Benchmark Book.
